On October 20, 2026, a left-handed Ping G430 Max driver had 14 live listings. The right-handed one had 37 at its last check. The cheapest lefty was $296, $16 more than the cheapest righty, yet our algorithm’s left-handed target came out at $457, against $362 for the right-handed club.
That is the left-handed used market in one club: fewer listings, prices spread wider, and real bargains for anyone who knows the right number.
The short answer
Search left-handed from the first click, judge every listing against a left-handed target, and aim to pay the right-handed one. Expect fewer listings and higher targets: in our checks the left-handed driver targets ran a quarter to a third higher, but the cheapest lefty listing for each driver was still well under the right-handed target. Irons are the hard part. Be flexible on model year there, because the set you want may not turn up left-handed this month.
What we found when we checked
We priced four popular clubs left-handed on October 20 and 21, 2026, and set them beside the right-handed targets on their club pages, which we checked earlier in the fall. Listings are the live ones ClubChecks showed, shipping included; we show up to 40.

The two drivers had left-handed targets 26% and 34% above the right-handed ones, and the Ping, the Scotty and the P790 had far fewer listings left-handed. Even so, the cheapest left-handed driver was within $16 of the cheapest right-handed one, and for the Stealth 2 it was $10 lower.
The iron set is the warning. There were two left-handed 2021 P790 sets listed, the cheaper an eight-club 4–PW with an AW, built 1¼ inches long, at $1,022. The right-handed set had 30.
Read together, that’s a thin market. Some sellers price a left-handed club as if scarcity were worth a premium; others price it like any other club, and those are the listings to buy. Today’s right-handed targets for the same clubs: G430 Max $341, Stealth 2 $248, Newport 2 $288, 2021 P790 $673.
A thinner market, and what that does to prices
Narrow a lefty search to your loft and flex and you may be choosing from a handful of listings where a right-hander has dozens.
A thin market does two things to prices. It spreads them out, because there are too few listings for a going rate to settle, and it makes the cheap ones disappear fast. You handle both the same way: know your number before you look, and buy when a listing comes in under it.
Thin stock has nothing to do with how good lefties can be. Bob Charles won the 1963 Open at Royal Lytham, the first major won by a left-hander. Since then Mike Weir has won the 2003 Masters, Bubba Watson the Masters in 2012 and 2014, Phil Mickelson six majors, and Brian Harman the 2023 Open at Royal Liverpool by six shots.
Which clubs are made left-handed
Most current clubs from the big brands come in a left-handed version, but not every model, length or head does, and used, you can buy only what the brands made. A few examples, from the brands’ own pages and launch coverage:
- Ping is the safest bet. Its G440 Max driver page, for one, says it’s “available in left- and right-handed models”.
- Scotty Cameron is the tightest. At the 2025 Studio Style launch, Golf.com listed only four models made left-handed: the Newport 2, Newport 2.5+, Fastback 1.5 and Catalina.
- TaylorMade made its 2025 Spider ZT in 33, 34 and 35 inches and as counterbalanced and long versions; the 46-inch long putter was right-handed only.
- L.A.B. Golf lists its stock Mezz.1 Max in right- and left-handed versions, and Bettinardi has a left-handed putter collection, the Queen B 6 among it.
Mainstream heads in standard specs nearly always come left-handed. Specialty builds, like long putters and the less common putter heads, are where the gaps are, so a lefty looking for one may have to settle for a different model or a different year.

- Club pages show the right-handed target. The number on a page like /clubs/ping-g430-max-driver-2023 is for the right-handed club. For the lefty one, check it in the app or the search box with Left selected.
- If there isn’t enough to go on, as with the left-handed Newport 2 and P790 above, we say “Not enough data yet” and still show every live listing.
Use both numbers. Treat the left-handed target as your ceiling and the right-handed target as your aim. In our checks, the cheapest lefty driver listings were $66 and $69 under the right-handed targets, the cheapest lefty Newport 2 was $2 over, and the two lefty P790 sets were far above.

Every big used-club seller lets you shop by hand. They differ in how much stock they carry and how easy it is to find.

Check that it’s left-handed. GlobalGolf warns that it shows its left-handed clubs with default images, typically of right-handed clubs, so trust the listing’s hand over the photo there. From a private seller, ask for a photo of the face at address: on a left-handed club, the toe points the other way.
