Used wedges: what to pay

Wedges wear out. Grooves lose their bite with use, so condition matters more here than anywhere else in the bag, and a cheap wedge with a worn face is rarely a bargain.

Before you buy. Check loft, bounce and grind, then look hard at the face and grooves in the photos. A wedge that has seen a lot of bunker play will show it.
