ClubChecks should work for you however you get around the web: with a keyboard, a screen reader, zoomed right in, or on a small phone.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. It's the standard most accessibility laws and guidance point to, including guidance under the Americans with Disabilities Act. We last reviewed the whole site against it on October 3, 2026, and we check again when the design changes.
What we've done
- Readable contrast. Text and controls meet the contrast the standard asks for, including text that sits on our course photographs, in both the daytime and evening versions of the home page.
- Keyboard. Everything works without a mouse: the search box and its suggestions (use the arrow keys), the used or new choice, every filter on a result, and the bag builder. Each page starts with a "Skip to main content" link.
- Screen readers. Buttons and controls have names that make sense on their own. When a search finishes you hear one line, the club, its target price and how many live options there are, rather than the whole page. The bag builder tells you when your bag is ready.
- Zoom and small screens. Pages reflow down to 320 pixels wide, so you can zoom to 400% without scrolling sideways, and pinch-to-zoom is never blocked.
- Motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, the animations stop.
How we checked: automated tests on every kind of page at phone and desktop sizes, a measurement of every line of text that sits on a photo, and keyboard checks by hand.
Known limits
- Store pages. When you open a listing you leave ClubChecks for the store's or marketplace's own page, which we don't control.
- Listing photos. Photos come from the sellers and don't carry descriptions. The listing's own wording sits next to each one, so you're never relying on the picture to know what it is.
- The price line. The chart showing where prices land for a club is visual. The same numbers, low, target and high, are written underneath it.
- The apps. This page covers the website at clubchecks.com. The iPhone and Android apps aren't part of this review yet.
Tell us
If anything on ClubChecks gets in your way, email admin@clubchecks.com. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and, if you're happy to, the device or assistive technology you use. We'll work on a fix, and if it can't be fixed quickly we'll get you the price you were after another way.
