Used drivers: what to pay

Type any driver for its target price and every live option under it.

Drivers lose value faster than any other club. Every big brand launches a new one every year or two, and the previous model drops as soon as the new one arrives. That makes a used driver one of the best buys in golf, as long as you know the number to pay.

Before you buy. Match the loft and the hand first, then the shaft flex. Make sure the head, shaft and adapter all come with it; a missing adapter or wrench is an extra cost. Crown scuffs are cosmetic, but a dented or cracked face is not.
