In October 2026, a used set of 2021 Titleist T100 irons was worth less than a 2019 set: $493 against $515.
The 2021 set is two years newer and was $22 cheaper, so age alone won’t tell you what a used Titleist iron set should cost. The T-series has enough generations now that the spread matters: a 2025 T100 set was worth more than twice the 2021 one.
The short answer
The T-series replaced Titleist’s AP irons in August 2019, and Titleist has launched a new generation every odd year since: 2019, 2021, 2023, 2025. The lower the number, the smaller and more player-oriented the head; the higher the number, the bigger, more forgiving and stronger-lofted.

Launch prices are Titleist’s US prices with steel shafts, as announced: the minimum advertised price for the set size Titleist quoted. Note that Titleist priced the 2019 sets as eight irons and later ones as seven. Graphite cost about $100 more per set. A dash in the last column means we don’t price that set separately yet.
What the numbers mean
Titleist doesn’t spell out a formula, but its own descriptions follow one: the number goes up as the head gets bigger, the sole wider and the lofts stronger.
- T100: “the modern tour iron”. Forged, compact, the iron Titleist builds for tour players and good ball strikers.
- T100•S and T150: the T100 with lofts 2° stronger, for more distance from a players’ shape. The T150 took over this slot in 2023 with a larger head.
- T200 and T250: the players’ distance iron, a thin, fast face backed by what Titleist calls Max Impact, behind a clean look. The T250 replaced the T200 in 2025.
- T300 and T350: game improvement. Big heads, wide soles, the most forgiveness in the main range. The T350 replaced the T300 in 2023.
- T400: an extra model from 2020 for slower swing speeds, built for launch and distance above everything.
The 2025 lofts show the spread. Titleist lists the 7-iron at 33° in the T100, 32° in the T150, 30.5° in the T250 and 29° in the T350. Four degrees between the first and the last is close to a full club.
Year by year
2019: the first T-series
Titleist announced the first T-series on August 6, 2019, and it reached golf shops August 30, ending the AP line: the T100 replaced the AP2, the T200 the AP3 and the T300 the AP1. The T100 was a fully forged dual-cavity iron with tungsten in the long and mid irons; the T200 put a forged face in front of a polymer core Titleist called Max Impact; the T300 was a mid-size cavity back. The T100 and T200 cost $1,399 for eight irons in steel, the T300 $999.
Two more followed on March 27, 2020. The T100•S ($1,399 for eight) was a T100 with every loft 2° stronger, a 32° 7-iron against the T100’s 34°. The T400 ($1,299 for seven) was a wide, hollow head with up to 100g of tungsten, aimed at moderate swing speeds. Used: 2019 T100 $499, T100•S $536.
2021: the second generation
The second generation reached shops on August 26, 2021, after Titleist announced it on July 29, at $1,299 for seven irons for the T100, T100•S and T200, and $999 for the T300. The T200 became a hollow body with Max Impact 2.0 behind a forged L-shaped face; the T300 kept its cavity back with a polymer core. Used: T100 $611, T100•S $576, T200 $645, T300 $573.
Look at that T100•S. In October 2026 it was worth $101 more than the T100 from the same year, though the two launched at the same price; more golfers want the stronger lofts.
2023: T150 and T350 arrive
Titleist announced the third generation on August 3, 2023, and it reached shops August 25, all four at $1,399 for seven. The T150 took the T100•S’s place, built on the T100 platform with 2° stronger lofts and a larger shape. The T350 replaced the T300 with a new construction: Titleist moved it from a one-piece cavity back to a hollow body with a forged face. Titleist refined the T100 and T200, giving the T200 a re-engineered internal chassis. Used: T100 $734, T150 $731, T200 $797.
2025: T250 replaces T200
Titleist unveiled the 2025 sets on July 10, and they reached shops August 21 at $1,499 for seven in steel. It called the T250 a “transformative redesign” of the T200 as well as a name change: an all-steel hollow body with a forged face, Max Impact behind it, and a thicker topline and wider sole. There is also a T250 Launch Spec, the same head 6g lighter with a 35° 7-iron, for golfers who need height. The T350 kept its hollow-body build. Used: T100 $1,071, T150 $969, T250 $989, T350 $874.
The limited finishes
Titleist has put limited finishes on the 2021, 2023 and 2025 heads: a T100, T100•S and T200 Black in March 2023 ($1,699 for seven), a T-Series Black on the 2023 heads in February 2025 ($1,899 for seven), an Oil Can copper finish in March 2026 and a Black Vapor finish on the 2025 heads in July 2026, both at $285 per iron in steel. They are the standard heads in a different finish.
A used T150 Black Vapor set has a target of $1,315; price any limited set against its standard twin first, and pay for the finish only if you want it.
Which T-series iron suits you
- You strike it well and want control: T100, any year. The smallest head and the weakest lofts in the range.
- You want a players’ look with more distance: T100•S (2020–21) or T150 (2023–25).
- You’re a mid-handicapper who still wants a clean look: T200 (2019–23) or T250 (2025). This is the iron most golfers should try first.
- You need forgiveness: T300 (2019–21) or T350 (2023–25).
- Your swing is slow and you need the ball in the air: T400, or the T250 Launch Spec.
A combo set often makes sense: T100 or T150 in the short irons, T200 or T250 in the long ones. Buy both halves from the same generation so they match.
Which used T-series set is the best value?
Our October 2026 targets for the T100, by year: 2019 $515, 2021 $493, 2023 $771, 2025 $1,071. The first two generations have flattened into the same band. The 2023 set cost about $280 more, and the 2025 set about $300 more again.
Once a set is two generations old its price mostly stops falling, so a 2021 set has done nearly all the dropping it will do, while the 2023 and 2025 sets still have a long way to go.
Our pick is the 2021 generation: the T100 at $611 if you’re a good ball striker, the T200 at $645 if you want more help, and the T300 at $573 if you need the most forgiveness. The 2019 sets are a fine buy too, but on our numbers the 2021 T100 was newer and cheaper, so there is little reason to go older.
Think twice about a 2025 set. In October 2026 a 2025 T100 cost $300 more than a 2023 one, for a 1° stronger 7-iron and a refinement of the same forged tour iron. Most golfers would get more from spending that $300 on lessons.
Count the clubs. A T-series set can be 4–PW, 5–PW, 4–W or anything in between, and a missing iron costs real money. Check the makeup and the shaft (steel or graphite, and the flex) before you compare a listing with the target. More iron sets, from every brand, are on our used irons page, and every Titleist we price is on our Titleist page.
Titleist keeps a steady calendar: it has announced a new T-series every other July or August since 2019. If the pattern holds, the next one is due in the summer of 2027, and the 2025 sets will take their next step down when it lands. If you want a 2025 set, that is the time to buy one.
Questions
What year did the Titleist T100 come out?
The first T100 reached golf shops on August 30, 2019. New versions followed in August 2021, August 2023 and August 2025, so check which generation a used set is before you compare prices.
What is the difference between the T100, T150, T250 and T350?
Size, forgiveness and loft. The T100 is the compact tour iron, the T150 a larger T100 with 2° stronger lofts, the T250 a hollow players’ distance iron, and the T350 the most forgiving. Titleist lists their 2025 7-irons at 33°, 32°, 30.5° and 29°.
Did the T250 replace the T200?
Yes. Titleist described the 2025 T250 as a redesign of the T200 and a name change. There is no 2025 T200.
Did the T350 replace the T300?
Yes, in 2023. The T350 moved from the T300’s one-piece cavity back to a hollow body with a forged face.
Who should play Titleist T300 or T350 irons?
Mid- and high-handicappers who want forgiveness and distance. Titleist calls the T350 its ultimate game improvement iron, and it has the largest head in the range.
Which used Titleist T-series irons are the best value?
The 2021 generation. In October 2026 a 2021 T100 set was the cheapest T100 of any year, worth less than half a 2025 set, and a 2021 T200 cost $133 less than a 2023 one.
